My favorite place is the mountain top. When I'm in the mountains, I feel free, small, and awe inspired. So I've collected a few of my favorite mountain spots to share.
A September in Leadville. The mountains are unpredictable.
The best part of skiing is the view.
A mountain top is a great place to meet God.
Looking over the valley in Edwards. Loved waking up to this!
The family at Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. Whenever I'm here, I imagine discovering this area for the first time and the awe I would have. Can you imagine being a first explorer in the Rocky Mountains? Can you imagine being one of the Ute indians living there hundreds of years ago? It blows my mind.

Great post, Emily. I love the mountains and often imagine what the first explorers thought - when I'm going through Glenwood Canyon, I often think about being in a covered wagon looking up at those mountains and wondering what is around the next bend.
