Pentecost Sunday

Appropriately adorned.

Fuzzy photography can be attributed to either a) poor lighting b) the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Eloise successfully sat through an entire church service, on the front row, without making a peep.

And Alex baptized little Cordelia Fae, our little bitty cuddle bug.

Pentecost Sunday is one of my favorite Sundays of the year because it is when we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit, our encourager, companion, and friend in this world.

And it reminds me of the power these words have, "Come Holy Spirit, Come."

What a wonderful time to baptize. we made tongues of fire in our sunday school class. it was a little risky, but totally worth it.
