What's for Dinner?

I was speaking with a forensic accountant yesterday and she said, "I don't get nervous testifying in court but the question 'what's for dinner' terrifies me."

How true is that?  Day in, day out 3 meals a day.  I'm always running out of ideas and motivation in the kitchen.  That's why we celebrate when a new Chik-Fil-A with an indoor playground is built.  Come winter, that's going to be our paradise!

But no, we can't eat fast food all the time, we have to get back in the saddle and cook once again.

So I ask, what's for dinner tonight?  What are you planning?  Craving?

We're having BBQ chicken drum sticks, mashed sweet potatoes, and probably some tomatos from the garden and ice cream too.

It's very simple, cheap, quick to cook, and all 4 of us will eat it.  Perfect for a Monday night.

How about you?  What's for dinner?  Help a sister out!

Fortunately for me, God blessed me with a husband that does all the cooking in our household. However, I do have my rare cooking occasions. My favorite dish to make is Poppyseed Chicken Casserole.

Your dinner sounds delicious. I'd love to see a picture of it prepared:). We are having shredded beef tacos, rice, and refried beans. But I'm really excited about what we're having in two days (after the tacos are gone): curried drumsticks, fried rice, and broccolini. yum!

Gwen, surely you are eating something for dinner...

Brooke--a man that cooks. Love it!

Willa J--Can we come over for dinner any time? Really any time works? :-) Seriously though, curried drumsticks sounds delicious!

Who else wants to share?

Well, this is my recipe. Take one excellant husband or the like, add one stainless steel barbecue, and any raw met available. If lucky, you will have a veggie that can also cook on the grill. You do the prep and the excellant husband does the cooking!

Well we just had noodles with sauce but my favorite winter time meal is taco soup...though it isn't the best for you but it is good.
