Not Me Monday

Sally (our car) is alive!  She lives another day.  Apparently the battery died.  But while Alex was driving?  hmmm... Questionable to us too.  Oh well.  Might have something to do with the snow storm.  The battery died at that time and we recharged it.  The details from our nice Japanese mechanic were lost in translation.  Now we just hope Sally lasts a while more.

Our car broke down this weekend.  Yes, our beloved "Sally."  My 15 yr old high school car stopped working 7 floors underground in a hospital parking garage.  Symbolic? Is she gone, buried forever? I hope not!

She's at the repair shop.  And they did NOT just call.  And I did NOT just tell them to call Alex's cell phone because I don't want to deal with it today.  I would NEVER give my already very busy husband one more thing to do just because I don't want to.  No NOT me!  I'm a ver self sufficient, capable woman.  Really, I am.

poor sally. you need molls. if i could make decisions with my life i'm sure molls would be able to come stay with you soon. as for now, i'm too busy to think about decisions for my own life.

Aww, your poor car! My RAV4 just turned 13-- just in time to have the front axle replaced. Hope yours isn't too expensive!

So sorry to hear this, Emily! I hope that the fix is quick and affordable. I loved the pictures of Eloise yesterday, by the way. She is such a beautiful little girl!

Sure hope your nice mechanic is correct. I'd hate for you to have more problems!
