I'm moving to the practice portfolio building stage of my dream and I need volunteers. Guinea Pigs. I need little people models starting this Spring and Summer.
If you or a friend in the area would be interested in a photo shoot, contact me. We can put something on the calendar and I can start clicking away. And hopefully you'll get some great photographs in the process too.

Awesome idea, Emily! I'm so excited for you!! If you want to add some family shots, I'd love to have you take some when we're in the area for my shoots:).
Let me know if you are ever in Dallas this summer, I would love to let you practice on Grant! Plus, it would be a good excuse to see you and chat in person for a change. :)
Only children, or can we work out a couple's engagement shot? We had some taken in the winter, but we would like spring/summer ones as well...
P.S. When I read the title of this post, I TOTALLY thought you were making the announcement that you are pregnant!

And for Tessa and Brooke, I wish I could photography both of you! If only we lived closer. The good thing is that I travel to both of your locations about once a year...

You know you're opening the flood gates in posting this, right?! :) haha It is indeed very exciting, though, and I'm happy for you! :) We'd certainly love to have you take some photos of Eden - and/or of us as a family sometime.
