Crock Pot Oatmeal. Here's my recipe. I know different proportions work better in different crock pots because crock pots vary greatly in size.
1 cup Steel Cut Oats 2.5 cups water 1 cup whole milk pinch of salt brown sugar to taste
Put on low over night. Turn it on right when you go to bed and right when you wake up. In my experience, if you leave it in too long--like 9 or 10 hours--it's not as yummy. 8 hours or a little less is better.
How do you make crop-pot oatmeal? Sounds like a nice morning treat.

Mmmmmm. Sounds good. I am the only one who will eat my crockpot oatmeal. "Too mushy" - but I say yum! Hope you all have a restful night, Emily!
ReplyDeleteOh, I want to try this! I want to do it tonight, but I only have rolled oats at home. Steel cut oats just went on the shopping list!
